These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of Zomocook’s services (“Services”) by you (“Client”). Zomocook is a company providing chef services in India, catering to both B2B and B2C clients. By accessing and using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of the Terms, you are not authorized to use the Services.

Zomocook may revise these terms of use at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we make, as they are binding on you.
2. Definitions
“B2B” refers to business-to-business services, where Zomocook provides chefs to cater to corporate events, office lunches, or other business needs.
“B2C” refers to business-to-consumer services, where Zomocook provides chefs for individual clients, such as private parties, home cooked meals, or cooking classes.
“Chef” refers to a culinary professional hired by Zomocook to provide cooking services to Clients.
“Services” refers to all services offered by Zomocook, including chef provisioning, menu planning, grocery procurement, and meal preparation.
3. Services
3.1 Zomocook provides B2B and B2C chef services, including:
Chef provisioning: Matching Clients with suitable chefs based on their specific needs and preferences.
Menu planning: Collaborating with Clients to create custom menus for their events or meals.
Grocery procurement: Sourcing and purchasing high-quality ingredients for the agreed-upon menu.
Meal preparation: Chefs cooking and presenting meals at the designated location and time
3.2 Additional services, such as kitchen setup, serving, and cleanup, may be available upon request and subject to additional fees.
4. Client Responsibilities
4.1 Clients are responsible for:
Providing accurate and complete information about their event or meal requirements.
Confirming chef selection and menu within the agreed-upon timeframe.
Obtaining any necessary permits or licenses for their event.
Providing a safe and hygienic workspace for the Chef.
Paying all fees associated with the Services in a timely manner.
4.2 Clients are prohibited from:
Engaging the Chef directly for future services outside of Zomocook’s platform.
Requesting or accepting any services from the Chef that are not included in the agreed-upon scope of work.
Behaving in a disrespectful or abusive manner towards the Chef.
5. Chef Responsibilities
5.1 Chefs are responsible for:
Arriving at the designated location on time and prepared to cook.
Following the agreed-upon menu and cooking instructions.
Maintaining a clean and professional work environment.
Interacting with Clients in a courteous and respectful manner.
5.2 Chefs are prohibited from:
Disclosing confidential information about Zomocook or its Clients.
Accepting gratuities or any form of payment directly from Clients.
Engaging in any illegal or unethical activity while on a Zomocook assignment.
6. Fees and Payment
6.1 Service fees are based on the chef’s experience, the complexity of the menu, the number of guests, and any additional services requested.
6.2 Clients will receive a detailed quote outlining all fees before confirming their booking.
6.3 Payment is due in full before the event or meal takes place.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
7.1 Clients may cancel their booking with a full refund up to 7 days before the scheduled event or meal.
7.2 Cancellations within 7 days will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
7.3 Cancellations within 48 hours will result in no refund.
7.4 Zomocook reserves the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, such as chef illness or inclement weather. In such cases, Clients will receive a full refund or be offered a rescheduled date.
8. Liability and Disclaimer
8.1 Zomocook acts as an intermediary between Clients and Chefs. We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of individual Chefs.
8.2 Zomocook will not be liable for any damages or losses arising from Client-provided information being inaccurate or incomplete.
8.3 Zomocook will not be liable for any damages or losses caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, such as power outages, natural disasters, or supplier delays.
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1 Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved amicably through negotiation.
9.2 If an amicable resolution is not reached, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regards.
